Day 7... Wow

Inspired by art.

Art, by definition:
the expression or application of human creative skill and imagination, typically in a visual form such as painting or sculpture, producing works to be appreciated primarily for their beauty or emotional power.
So how does this pertain to me?

Well some thing that I may find quite awesome, you may not, how this relates to me, well...

Code

Yes code, a for of art, creative skill and imagination to solve ones problems.

Some thing that us as humans may think is so "simple" is well complex in a developers life.

One such example is sorting. Sorting of what?
Sorting of names, numbers, sorting of locations, rearranging locations.

Thing about what we sort out on a daily basis? I can think of a few, namely:
The sorting of cups, when unpacking a dishwasher, sorting and managing todo lists (from most important to least, or lest fun to most) and in the greater scheme of things, parking.

The latter, parking, may not really be defined as sorting, but rather finding a place to park. Now Imagine you had no way of telling which parking's were taken and not. It would just be a guessing game for us to tell which parking you can use. Well, thank goodness we can tell which ones are taken and now, and from that list we may break it down even more, which open parking is the closest to me, which one is the closest to the door or we may run some complex thought process to which parking is the most likely to be open when I get to it, taking into consideration road direction, number of cars and distance from shopping center door.

Another example, to sugar coat it, is when you pick out your favorite sweets from a assortment of them, of your favorite smarty.

This as you can sort of figure out, are some form of sorting.

Now in code, these algorithms are an art of pure creative thinking, and individuals skill to how simply they can solve a complex issue.

Fear

One of my greatest fears

Ohh my greatness, which one to choose? The one to tell the world.

What could it be?

So recently I have been working with a few people, that I would not say are the more productive people. This got me thinking about productivity.

How being productive is something good for us as humans. Look at us, the world, how everything has become more and more productive over the past. Its a scary feeling to one day not being able to work, or contribute to things.

I look at myself now, for the past year I have watched countless hours of series, the hours I have wasted with that, I... well I actually don't really want to know. Looking at that, and seeing how people are wasting their lives away is a scary thing.

I don't want to ramble on to much about time management and waste, but I think that is my greatest fear, is becoming something I regret, being unproductive at my youthful age.

The thing that drives me with regards to this, is ambition, I would like to think.

haha :)
